A doodle doesn't get wet. It absorbs. Pool water, pond water, sprinkler water, the humidity on a "dry" afternoon. All of it soaks into the fur, and the tag sits right in the middle of it for hours.
That's why we engrave instead of print. The words are cut into the tag with a laser, so there's no ink to wash out, fade or peel.
