Dog Parks in Utah County (and Draper), Checked Against City Pages
Utah County is mostly a leash-required place. Off-leash means a designated dog park, and most cities have exactly one or two. Here's what each city's own page says, as checked on 2026-10-13. If a city didn't publish hours or rules, we say so instead of making them up.
A loose dog in a dog park is a feature. A loose dog outside one is a phone call. Make sure it's yours that rings: put your number on a tag.
Lehi: Willow Park and Exchange Park
- Lehi has two dedicated dog parks: Willow Park and Exchange Park. Every other city park requires a leash.
- No dogs at all at Lehi Sports Park or Veterans Memorial Ball Park.
- Most Lehi parks are open 5 AM to 11 PM, and parks can't be occupied 11 PM to 5 AM.
- Willow Park's dog park sits next to the Willow Park campground, 2998 West 300 North. Willow Park itself is open 7 AM to 10 PM.

Saratoga Springs: Saratoga Ridge Park
- The dog park is at the south end of Saratoga Ridge Park, 532 N Mount Saratoga Blvd.
- The park is open 6 AM to 10 PM.
- The dog park is closed the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of each month for maintenance.
- Water fountains, including the dog park's, are winterized October 15 to April 15. Bring water. Bulldogs especially.

Orem: Timpanogos Park
Orem's animal control page names the dog park area at Timpanogos Park as the city park where dogs can run free. It doesn't list hours or rules, so call the city before your first visit.

Provo: Bicentennial Park
Provo's park guidelines name the designated dog park inside Bicentennial Park as the city's off-leash area. Check provo.gov for hours and current rules.

Draper (Salt Lake County, but close enough)
- Designated off-leash areas: Dayland Dog Park, Galena Dog Park and the West Bluff off-leash test area at 1455 E. Deer Ridge Drive.
- Dogs are allowed on leash on the Bonneville Shoreline Trail and the trails below it.
- Dogs are not allowed in the Corner Canyon watershed area above the Bonneville Shoreline Trail.

American Fork and everywhere else
We couldn't find an official city page listing a designated off-leash park for American Fork, Pleasant Grove or the other cities, so they're not on this list yet. Check your city's parks page or call the parks office before you unclip.
Before you go
- Bring a leash even to the dog park. You'll need it in the parking lot.
- Bring water, bags and a dog who comes back when called. Two out of three is typical.
- Get your dog licensed (here are the Utah license rules) and wearing an ID tag with your phone number.
